A Note on Using The Source
This book is divided into three parts: The why, the how, and the food. The “why” of the book in Part I will provide powerful motivation for many of you who will be committed to taking on the 21 Day Plan after understanding the latest information on how your body makes energy and stays healthy. But for those of you who want to cut to the chase and skip the explanation of Part I, you may go straight to the “how”—the Plan in Part II on page 207. The Plan puts the six fundamentals of Part I into action,providing a daily guide for powering up your energy and retooling your health. But promise that as you work through the plan over the next three weeks you will go back to Part I and read the background and science underlying The Source. Here you’ll pick up on a wealth of useful information on how to increase your energy, and after reading the compelling evidence you will realize (as I have) that this is not a fad—this is the medicine of the future.
